What is a CAMPer? A CAMPer is a college student who has been selected to participate with a individual CAMP grant.
Congratulations! There are over 2,000 new CAMPers throughout the country every year. And upon completing CAMP, they join over 20,000 others as CAMP Alumni. Since 1972, there have been 55 CAMP grants, with 46 of them currently still active within 19 states and Puerto Rico.
The CAMP Alumni Association invites all CAMPers and CAMP Alumni to regularly visit MigrantStudents.org as there will be new services and information posted on a regular basis. For instance, we are establishing special relationships with corporations, governmental and non-profit organizations to provide you with unique internship and scholarship opportunities. Some of the upcoming unique CAMPer national activities include:
